Christmas is a particularly challenging time for families in recovery. Most family resources are directed toward treatment, stable housing, and basic necessities - leaving little for extras like Christmas gifts. The children we support have already experienced significant trauma and instability. Many have been separated from parents during periods of active addiction, witnessed family violence, or have been involved with child protection services. For these children, the holidays can be a painful reminder of what they’ve lost, rather than a time of joy and celebration. With your support, we hope to bring holiday cheer to these resilient children. Toys will be distributed through our family support programs across Victoria. less
